Current Availability: some limited availability All Ages and Levels Welcome!Although we are specialists, we have an egalitarian philosophy and believe that anyone can be a great musician, regardless of technical experience level. Therefore, we warmly welcome students at all levels, including adults, children, professional training, graduate and audition training, and beginners.

ScheduleTeaching usually takes place at our studio throughout the week.
At the moment, David generally teaches on Weekends, including some Fridays. Simon generally teaches on Weekdays. Please remember that we are both active performers, therefore schedules are subject to change depending on our performance schedules (and also during ViolinSchool projects): Other tuition times are available for online teaching; this is usually organised via ViolinSchool. If the day/time you want is not available, it's always worth asking; because our schedules are variable, we do sometimes have last minute availability. New for January 2017: In addition to lessons in Victoria, Simon and David are also teaching together on Saturday mornings as part of The Violin Course, a comprehensive study course by ViolinSchool that takes place in Kings Cross in Spring 2017. All tuition must be paid for in advance by bank transfer or debit/credit card. Lessons will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please email violin@hewittjones-worswick.com to request our bank account details.

We are currently unable to award bursaries or scholarships, but we will try to help where possible if finance is an issue. Please do not be put off contacting us - we do not want anyone to be unable to take violin tuition due to cost.

Not only is our teaching practice an official associate of ViolinSchool... we also run ViolinSchool itself! ViolinSchool is a leading online violin school, providing eLearning programs to students all around the world.
We ask all our students to become members of ViolinSchool, so that you get full access to the ViolinSchool curriculum, elearning modules, tutorial videos and libraries, sheet music, and aural/theory training, that will help you make the most of your learning. Membership starts from just £11/month.
By studying online, you'll gain a deep understanding of technical topics before you come to a lesson with us... so we'll be able to start at a higher level when you come to take coaching with us in Palace Street!
